Alphabet Academy is a private school with two early learning centers in Hamden, CT serving families with children from 6 weeks through Kindergarten. The Nest at Alphabet Academy is our third school in 9 years and the only one whose focus is solely on children under the age of 3.

Where is the new center located?
The new early learning center is located on the grounds of the Yale Divinty School, 350 Canner Street New Haven, the ground level of Curtis Hall.
When will it open?
The new center opened in late August 2013.
How many children does the center serve?
The Nest at Alphabet Academy has 3 classrooms for a total 24 children; 8 infants, 8 toddlers and 8 two year-olds.
What are the hours of the center?
The center is open Monday – Friday, 7 a.m.-6 p.m. (excluding holidays), 49 weeks per year. See the calendar.
Who is eligible?
The Nest at Alphabet Academy will seek to enroll children that are drawn entirely from families affiliated with Yale University. Faculty members with young children will be given placement priority.
What is the tuition?
Tuition is $1,800 per month for Yale University families and $1,900 for families not affiliated with Yale University. Tuition includes two healthy snacks and lunch. Learn more about the food program here.
